Orange County is near the geographic center of the state of Florida. At the time of the 2010 census, the population was 1,145,956. The University of Florida with an enrollment of almost 60,000 students has a massive campus in Northeast Orange County. The private colleges of Rollins College is close to downtown Orlando. It was ranked #1 by U.S. News & World Report among regional universities in the south. Valencia Community College, which offers a two-year degree program, has six campuses throughout the county. The law schools of Barry University and Florida A&M are located in downtown Orlando. Incorporated cities within the county are Apopka Bay, Lake Belle Isle, Edgewood, Lake Buena Vista, Maitland, Ocoee, Orlando, Winter Garden, and Winter Park. There are many more towns, census-designated places, and unincorporated communities in Orange County. Orlando International Airport is in Orange County.
